Default Exhaust and intake on my 02 accord ex?

I want to put an exhaust and air intake on my car. Are these good for the engine? What exactly do they do? Thank you

The make your Head(top of the engine) flow air better. So better air flow makes the ECU read that and it sends more fuel so... to make it simple, more air X more fuel= More horsepower. With a exhaust and cold air intake you will notice a 5-10 horsepower gain. If you had intake, exhaust, and a header, you will see a 12-18 horsepower gain WITH a tune.

A car runs on air, water & gas. Intake, headers & exhaust will give the car a little more HP by giving it better air flow.
