Default older Honda accord vtec question?

ok so im trying to buy a Honda around 1998-2001 im only looking at Honda EX with leather and my question is. how can I tell if the Honda EX im looking at is SOHC or OHV cuz I only want the SOHC. Iv been told that all EX honda accords use SOHC is that true? if its not please tell me how to distinguish the two by looking at the engine thanks

I could be mistaken but there are no OHV engines in Hondas from 98 - 2000. There are only SOHC or DOHC. (Single or dual overhead cam) An OHV engine infers overhead valves opening and closing via push rods connected to lifters riding on a cam deep in the engine.
