Default What happens when I use different size tires in front and rear of my 03 sedan accord?

I have a questions regarding how different tire size effects wheel alignment and anything else. The tires are on 16' alloy rims from an 01 Honda prelude. The set up is below.*

205/55 16 front

215/55 16 rear

After years of watching people ask questions like this there is one inescapable conclusion I can reach.

The answer is always and emphatic NO. Every time.

NEVER put staggered tire sizes on a FWD car.

Basically if you have 16in wheels already and your changing too a 17in wheel or something like that I would say it might effect the odometer & speed cause the car is calibrated too a 16in wheel now. It only seems your changing the width & sidewall height so doing so staying with a 16in wheel won't do anything, changing the width & height of the tire will effect the way the car rides ,handles. If all possible try too use the same tire size on all four tires for the best ride possible. 16 in tire is a 16in tire its only when you change the width sidewall height & if go too a 15 a 14 or a 17,or higher will it too start to effect anything.

That's not much. Maybe have a tiny bit more grip and look a tiny bit thicker

so the rear ones are a bit wider than the front ones? I see no problems with that!
