Default honda civic rebuild b18b1?

im rebuilding my 94 honda civic hatch with the b18b1 motor non vtec non turbo.puting new pistions and lighter pulleys in it and i was wondering would putting all new valves and springs in it give me more hp?

New springs AND retainers! will not give you more horsepower, but you will be able to rev a lot higher. The valves won't give you anything, but you should still get new ones while you have everything opened.

No, but if it's more HP you are lookin for. Then put in cam gears, cam shafts, crank shafts, bore & stroke & port & polish the head.

Nope but put good springs and titianum retainers and drop in some stage cams and you'll make a little more hp















But itll sure cost some cash cams go for 300 springs too















Depending of brand















Polish and port the head also good hp too
