Default Modifying my civic help?

I want to either get a blox racing stage one or two cam in my 99 civic sohc how much power would I gain from a stag on vs stage two? If I go with stage two ill be getting blox valves and springs also. The other option would be a eBay turbo kit , with a name brand waste gate. What option would be better for a daily driver and net more power? I would only run the psi at 5-8 no more

Any other answer is wrong but this trust me....There is a book and dvd set called how to build. Find the one that is closest to your engine. To find out how much horse power you will receive there are alot of mathematics involved. The book will give you 90% of what you need but you may need help from a professional. You will need to figure out cfm, compression ratios, and air intake. The turbo charger is going to use the exhaust to turn twin turbines in the turbo to push air into the engine bypassing the need of barometric pressure. It's expensive the turbo $600-$800 plus about $1200 more for the piping, passageways, and intake adapters. With your valves and springs you may need to change valve overlap and valve . I know all this because I spent $20,000 to turn a stock 19474 trans-am into a superstock dragster and got my liscense to race. Turbo Charger 350 turned into a 383 stroker low compression aluminum heads 4.060" hyperutechtic pistons and body re-enforcement and roll cage 600hp. When ever i see performance questions I always offer to send me emails with any questions this is my life and passion

You would need a lot more than just that

Besides all that I would go no higher than stage 2 cams on boost get head work dual springs titanium retainers valves port and polish the head

Arp head studs

Guard block

Eagle rods

Maybe consider on some new pistons like vitara pistons they are low compression pistons and upgrade your injectors a little higher, you can run boost on stock but work last for long time unless kept well maintain and don't kill the motor

Pm if any questions
