Get a 2001 Honda Accord with a 6cyl motor.

Otherwise, here is one of many peformance websites specifically designed to take your money and pour it down that faster car hole enthusiasts love to go down....

Depends how fast you want it and also how much money u have. if u have the cash best route is a turbo or a h22a swap. if not maybe bolts ons like header exhaust cams etc.. also most important is tuning.

I suggest it's already fast enough to break the law and fast enough to kill you. What more do you need?

Sell it and buy a faster car, that's the cheapest way. You could spend 1000+ and get another 10 bhp which would have little effect.

Service it, that's about all you can do to such an old cheap car.

Swap in a h22 as someone else said. It has 200-220 horsepower depending if you get the h22 type-S. Then the next basic mods are intake, header, and exhaust. Don't forget you have to work on suspension, tuning, good tires, etc.

Depends on how much money you want to spend and how much faster you want it.

Stage 0: Make sure your engine is well maintained, If you haven't already done so, replace the cap / rotor, spark plugs, change the oil, etc. No sense in modifying a poorly running engine.

Weight: It's time to go on a diet. Spare tire? Tools? Jack? Dropping 100;bs off the car is like adding 10 hp.

Research: Most Honda engines respond well to a header, cam(s) and ECU. If you're on a limited budget, no sense in spending money on mods that yield little to no results.
