Can a 95 z6 tranny fit on a d16y7 without any modifications ?

All, d-series engines will bolt up with any d-series transmissions. 1.5 or 1.6 it doesn't matter. The only difference is the gear ratios from year to year and trim levels. High mileage cars like cx, hx, and lx will have taller ratios and the si and ex will have a shorter ratio.
