hi guys i just did a timing belt water pump seals the whole nine yards on a honda accord and i just finished it off and started the car up after topping off the fluids and when i started it up it had a really high idle like 5000 rpm so i shut the engine off ASAP what went wrong.

Sounds like you got the timing off. Check it out again. Also check that all vacuum hoses are in place

If you don't have a manual, I suggest you get a Haynes manual for your car. About $25 at most auto parts stores. Read up on how to do it. Then double check your work.

That is some massive intake manifold leak - it isn't possible to get to 5000 rpms without adding air. You can find a leak that size pretty quickly by putting the intake duct against your face, opening the throttle and blowing into the duct. A helper should be able to hear/feel it easily.
