Default I own a 2000 honda civic HX (auto) and cant figure out why my car and rpms pulsate when

going over any hill? Strait roads doesn't do it as much but any hill small or big car pulseates, vrrRRROOOooommm....vrrRRROOOMmmmmm ect, it's a weird model civic, any advise helps, trans fluid is good.

Possible weak fuel pump and/or clogged fuel filter. Modern in-the-tank fuel pumps usually go out slowly, getting weaker over time.

Sounds to me like your transmission fluid is low. When you go up a hill, the pump is unable to pick up the transmission fluid, hence the speeding up of the engine with no resistance (load) from the transmission.































I have included a link, compliments of Auto Zone that explains the type of transmission fluid you should use and how to check the level.
