Default I just bought a car a few days ago and the lx...?

The lx symbol was in the glove compartment from previous owner and was wanting to know what to use to get it back on? Would gorilla glue work or will it foam up?

It should work, as should some kind of epoxy; the kind where you have to combine two ingredients. I'd consider some kind of glue gun. My thinking is that the directions to remove a tag that was put on by a car maker, involve using a heat gun to loosen the glue. You could always ask a dealer or research how the manufacturers do it.

Most auto parts stores will carry adhesive that is specifically for trim pieces and emblems. Just go to the counter and ask one of the parts people for it. It should only be a few dollars.

Definitely don't put gorilla glue on your cars paint it will ruin it. Trust me I've worked in a body shop for 6 years and I've seen a lot of diy tricks ruin a car the whole super glue and duck tape motto fixes everything does not apply to cars. The best thing you can do is go to a local automotive store and get some 3M emblem adhesive its not that expensive probably about the same amount as a tube of gorilla glue and its made to go on paint so it isn't going to ruin your paint and peel off and cause a bigger issue and make sure that you only apply a couple drops and evenly apply it on the emblem so it will stay on like its suppose to. Make sure you don't overdue it though and get glue all over your car because then you'll be back at square one.
