To add to the last answer, don't do it yourself! You're adding a head designed to function with a short stroke engine to a long stroke engine. Make sure you find a specialist who REALLY KNOW THESE ENGINES. I can't stress that enough. That's the ONLY way you will have a a reliable engine. Those two are not designed to be mated together, so it takes serious skills (and lots of experience) to make it happen. I've seen too many of the Frankenstein swaps leaking oil or having VTEC problems. Also, get a VTEC controller. Stock the VTEC kicks in at around 5500 RPMs. While that works on the GSR short stroke engine, your long stroke engine will run out of breath shortly after it kicks in. You want it to function in a more linear and longer powerband. Get the controller. while the LS and GSR are both B18s, they really are completely different engines internally. there are also extra lines for the head on the GSR engine that the LS doesn't have.
