Default 1992 honda prelude won't switch from heat to defrost stuck in one position only.?

When I push the switches on the dash the heat stays on blowing straight out of the vents and down to the floor. Won't change positions to defrost or the other configurations.

check control motor on the heater box behind the glove box with a test light.if vacuum it be in the control switch on the dash make sure the vacuum from the engine is work ing to the control switch.
