I wouldn't drive it until you at least check for brake lights. Most have the dash and brake lights fused together so that when it blows you'll know and check it out.

Many times the car will have more then one circuit that draws on a fuse for example if the dash lights are out the marker/tail lights are also out bec of a fuse. What I'd suggest is first off turn on your marker/ dash switch and check the marker/tail lights, then go through and check all the lights, horn etc.Sometimes looking at a fuse chart on fuse boxes can be tricky or when you look at the actual fuse box it looks so much different. In my Honda for example either the fuse chart or owners manual chart truly matches up with the actual fuse box.One reason why is Honda or somebody may have used spare/non used fuse sockets to put spare fuses in.Best way is try to match up the fuse local with a fuse number or letter that shows up in the owners manual or fuse charts. Then for example if you want to be sure that no10 is in fact no10, look up what fuse say 9 does, try the device/devices fuse 9 controls, then pop it out see if those devices aren't working, then device switches off and pop fuse 9 back in.

One basic test is ground a 12 volt test probe, turn the ignition key to the run position and now touch the tip of probe to each side of the fuse, you'll see metal at each end of the basic fuses. The test probe should light up at each end of the fuses but if you find for example one side of a fuse giving you power but not the other the fuse is usually found to be no good.Note that fuses like the dash lights might have are fed power via the switch so if you find a fuse dead at both ends the fuse maybe no good but it also could be bec you don't have a certain switch turned on.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way here's a link that offers a free factory service manual down load.
