Default What's is the typical model year for the civic to be turned to a "ricer"?

I would like to buy a cheaper car and put some money Into it, I've heard Honda parts are relatively cheap. I was just wondering what would be the best model year that most people modify and as they say "turn it into a ricer". I like the way they look when people have done it right.

Unless things have changed ricer was always a reference to cars from asia(people who eat rice).

Most I've seen have been from '92 to 2000. But really, you can do it to any year you want, just depends on how much money you want to throw at it.

I'd agree with Caleb. You don't typically see to many riced up civics after 2000 just because (from my experience) they simply don't look as good, and they're more expensive :P

1995 and around that vicinity with 3 years off either way.

The cars are still decently reliable and yes, Honda parts are cheap and it's fun to modify your vehicle!

Keep it legal though,

Enjoy,
