Default How to turn off notifications in a 2012 Civic?

So I recently bought a 2012 Civic at first I was content with my purchase, however lately I am getting soooo irritated by its cooooonstant reminders for evvvvery freakin' thing!

Notifications for:

- gas (I already see the tank PLUS the 2 extra "i" (information) lights that are constantly on)

- seat belt (I know I know... just wear it, I already know! I don't need to extra reminders)

- service reminders (I already know when I need to take my car for an oil change, I don't want it to remind me EVERY FREAKIN' TIME I START THE CAR!) So irritating!

- for following traffic rules (I already effin know that too, I learned all that shit when taking my driving test and in all those stupid traffic classes)

Imagine you need gas and an oil change!! Every time you start the car you have to answer all the questions saying "okay" to everything over and over again is pretty effin irritating! You leave your house (press OK to 5 screens), stop at the bank and restart (press OK to 5 screens), go to Safeway and restart (OK to 5 screens)... you get my drift?! I miss my old car (2000 Civic), didn't have any of this shit and I drove it for 12 years!

Please help me before I go crazy

Thank you in advance.

Well, this sounds very serious. Very serious. Cars are not supposed to annoy their operators. I can only advise to you that you made this decision to buy this car. So, rather than complain here, which is basically pointless and a waste of time, why not read the owner's manual as to these notifications or, if reading and problem solving is not your thing, then you return to the Honda dealership when you made this purchase and explain what is going on and what how can it be resolved. As to the seat belt, well, I have one story. This just happened two weekends ago in my area. A young dad driving a Hummer with with seven year old son in the right seat. The son was wearing his seat belt. Dad was not. The came up on a car that had stopped on the road due to a collision with a deer. The Hummer driver veered off. The Hummer, having a high center of gravity, overturned and ejected the dad. The dad was killed. The boy was not even scratched. I do no know why you elect not to wear the seat belt. But time and time again it has been proven that it is best to wear it. The oil change I am doubtful. My two cars have different reminders but they are not each time the car is started unless they are overdue. Both manuals give steps to reset these warning. Very easy to do. Gasoline reminders only happen if the fuel quantity is below a threshold. One car is 1.9 gallons. The other is 1.5. All needed is to add fuel. As to following traffic rules and other announcements, I am not going to call a Honda dealership nor search online as to these warning devices for you. Many things are controlled via settings. Up to you as to what you wish to do. But, for sure, complaining here is not going to resolve your issues. Best of luck.
