Default What does "sports mode" mean on a Honda Accord?

I just got a 1991 Honda Accord LX. There is an option to use "sports mode". I'm wondering what is different about it and when to use it. And what if anything would I need to do differently if I were to drive in "Sports Mode"

Sports mode means that you can operate your vehicle much like a manual. If the car is put in sports mode you will have to manually change gears by moving the shifter to the appropriate gear, by moving the shifter up,and back down to downshift. You can use sports mode, whenever you want, but if you don't change the gears, you could blow your engine

Its basically a mode where the car can max out a bit for on the engine. If you judt use your car for daily use, you dont need to mess with it. Sport cars these days have it and it basically does what all sport modes do. So you should need to use it unless you want to drag or something
