Default What "D" should I drive my 1991 Honda Accord?

I recently got a 1991 Honda Accord LX wagon. It is an automatic transmission. On the gear shift there on options 1, 2, D3, and D4. I'm wondering at what time or situation should I be using each one.

PLEASE help! I know nothing about cars & the manual is missing!

The one closest to the neutral is the standard. Unless you are going to go up a really steep hill or something like that you pull it to a lower gear.

You can sense the lower gears because the car runs slower. You place it on the D that runs normal not slow . And it changes the gears automatically.

D4 is probably the option to use for normal driving. D3 if it's a steep hill. 1 and 2 would probably be low gears for snow driving or towing.

D4 would be the regular driving, the D3 would be hilly driving where you don't want it to go into overdrive.

You should use D4,D3 is for climbing steep hills, and shouldn't let the transmission get passed 2nd gear.there
