Default has it changed from 1year to 6mths to drive after having a fit?

i had a fit in august this year and haven't had another one when can i drive?

The rule is that the DVLA will consider your case in consultation with your doctor if you have not had a fit while awake for at least one year but it is not certain that they will grant a licence at that time. It will also be a medicaly restricted licence that requires you to re apply every three years.

As far as I know it hasn't changed. it is still 1 year in the UK. Other countries rules might be different. if you are in Ireland then I don't know.
