Default I didn't turn my key all the way in my ignition?

I got in my car and turned the key and heard the starter, but i let off too early and it stopped. the car works fine and runs smoothly but i just wanted to know if that can cause any damage to the car. Also, what could the problem be if my car changing gears shakes me a little bit. Honda Accord Coupe 2005

I'm not sure if it causes damage, but here is the clue, when you are turning the key, the engine starts to spray gas into its cylinders, and right after maybe 1/10 second the spark-plug will be trying to ignite the gas so that the combustion could happen to get the engine started. But if you let it off too early, the gas in the cylinders will not be ignited and stay in it, which means too much gas than required when you turn the key again. After a long term in which maybe 100 times you failed to start the engine at the first turning, the excessive gas might turn into something like the pitch used to pave the road and stick inside the cylinders, especially on the spark-plug, and finally you engine will not be started because ignition will never happen on a pitch-coated spark-plug.

It does not cause any damage, and no it will not turn into pitch doing it 100 times.

Not turning the key all the way may cause slight flooding of the cylinders, which may make the car harder to start. Mostly, the effect is negligible.

The shaking that you feel when changing gears is probably slippage. If it is a manual transmission, have the clutch adjusted. If it is an AT, then check for low or discolored fluid. You may have a leak, or you may need a transmission repair.
