Default my honda civic 93 ex. shift shift cant put in gears.?

when the car is not start , it "can" put in gear. but when i start the car , i can not put in any gear at all. please help. thank you so much.

could be bad slave cylinder could be out of clutch fluid or could be out of oil in the transmission
