Default replacing distributor on a honda civic 2000 ex?

the distributor is really easy to replace, but is there anything that has to be done after installing the part? will it just run fine or is there some time of timing adjustment?

you have to do ignition timing. where you hook up the service connector















and run a timing gun and turn the distributor to be at the right timing specs















only do this when the engine is hot and running and when the fan turns on
