Default I have a question about intakes?

I just got myself an 06 Si and want to give it an intake and FlashPro. I keep reading people talking about their car being lean and rich. I understand it has something to do with air to fuel ration, but are they both bad? Or is one way expected?

Also, I'm leaning towards the K&N Typhoon short ram intake. Anything out there that would give a more noticeable improvement? That doesn't require cutting and stuff. Thanks!

Your car has a high quality cold air intake already. A short ram is worse - poorer power (because it draws hot air instead of cold when the engine is warm) and poorer fuel economy because it draws cold air when the engine is cold.

Aftermarket tuners trade power for durability - don't expect an aftermarket-tuned Honda to last anywhere near as long as it would stock. There are very good reasons Honda did not use those settings!!!! For that reaon GM refuses to honor the powertrain warranty on any GM vehicle that has had aftermarket tuning, no matter how briefly.
