It's a lot funner to drive than you think it is.

It may be a small car with a small engine, but what Honda has done was basically filled the old Civic hatchies when they died out.

Small, light on it's feet, and very well balanced.

Traditional hydraulic steering gives it live handling. (unlike the numb, electric power steering in the Civics)

I've seen guys look down upon the Fit and when they get out of it, they are in awe.

Yeah, it has a small engine and is slow off the line, but for what it is, it is a way ahead of it's subcompact competitors like the Versa, Yaris, Aveo & Sonic, and the Rio/Accent.

Of course coming from a car guy, you have to get the 5 speed manual.

Honda is known for their superb manual transmission. Smooth and slick.

The versatility is quite respectable as well.

You can fold down the rear seats and get a complete flat cargo area.

The problem with vehicles with fuel efficiency is mind is that they lose the true essence of a car.

Yeah you want a car to be fuel efficient, but you don't want to lose that drive-car experience.

The Fit strikes a balance between sportiness and efficiency.

Unlike today's Civics. (of course excluding the Si)
