i would go for it just look under the car and make sure the car is not rotting out underneath they always have rot problems no matter what part of the country you are in i had one that looked perfect but the floors were gone just make sure the floors and rockers are good and i think you will be fine

4 grand, is pretty pricey for a crx, probably been beat on and has a sloppy drive train, especially with performance mods and probably owned by a kid. My dad had a stock one that he gave about 1500 for that ran for ever, had like way over 200000 on it but the body rusted out pretty bad after a while.

I afraid such a car would be very expensive to insure. Check its insurance quotes before buying -
