Default Would a k20 honda engine fit into a 1989 Accord coupe lx-i? ?

The accord is stick. Any other mods that would be needed to handle all the extra horsepower? And could performance parts meant for the accord be used with the new engine?

With the right amount of money ANY engine will fit even if a RWD conversion is need, if you think it will be cheap get another project because it wont, no less than $4000 USD and NO your current "performance parts" would be useless.

Look, you can use a car performance simulator[1] to virtually swap any engine on your car and run comparison tests to see how much improvement you get vs lets say your current engine but tuned.
