Default Aftermarket backlit gauge cluster for 89 Honda CRX?

I recently bought an 89 CRX. It has an engine swap with lots of aftermarket mods ie headers, air induction, clutch, axles, mounts etc so thing is REALLY fast. I drove it for the first time at night tonight for some smokes when i realized i couldnt tell how fast i was going because the gauge cluster isnt backlit like newer cars. Ive tried searching the internet for somewhere that sells backlit gauge clusters but all i found was a sight on how to make one and another that sold faceplates. Anyone know of such a website? 70 in a 50 makes for an expensive ticket

Dude good find. I used to have a crx si same year. Thing was a beast and cluch so smooth. Anyways yes the backlight does light up, yours just might of went out (wiring or light old) or the fuse went out. Check your fuses first and if they are fine call around junkyards. They are the best easiest least expensive way to get these parts. I have to do the same thing for some of my pieces for my 93 Honda prelude si. Hope this helps.

Go with what Leroy said. Also, check the dimmer switch make sure it isn't turned all the way down. Yeah, sounds stupid I know but hey it happens. Also, you said engine swap which makes me ask this what is the top speed on the speedo. 120mph or 150mph? Reason I ask is 120 is USDM and the 150 is EDM(european direct market.) If someone swapped the engine and added a edm cluster it may not be wired right. EDM clusters out of the crx vt(b16a vtec engines) had a 9k redline. Some people put one in if they can get it at a nice price when they do a b-series swap. I got one in my rex.
