It depends on what condition it is now. There is no magic number where it suddenly blows up.

The Accord can be driven half a million miles or more. It all depends on how much money you want to put into it. I bought a 94 Honda Accord with 214,000 miles on it. I now have 325,000 miles on it. The motor oil I use for it is 10W30. I made the switch from 5W30 when it started burning oil.

When I bought my car, the timing belt had recently been changed. In regard to timing belts, Honda recommends you change them every 90.000 miles. But in reality, you can go 150,000 miles before they have to be changed.

With roughly 200,000 miles on your car, you should be thinking about the automatic transmission if it has one. If you have a manual transmission, think about the clutch.

If you have an AT (automatic transmission): make sure the AT fluid is changed every 30,000 miles. MTs use oil instead of transmission fluid. The AT on my 94 Accord went out at 275,000 miles.

If you have an MT (manual transmission): find out when the clutch was last changed. Clutches can last anywhere from 50,000 to 200,000 miles. It all depends on how it's driven and how much it's been shifted.
