Default Do you guys love the Honda Prelude?

I own a 2000 Honda Prelude that I love and I think it's one of the best cars Honda has ever made. It's a very fun car to drive and has great handling with a lot of horse power. I love the VTEC engine, it sounds great at high rpm's and the H22A4 is one of the best Honda engines in my opinion. I like that they are rare and I don't see a lot of them, I knew this was the car I wanted. I didn't want a civic because everyone has those and they are more of an economy car where as the Prelude has a lot of power and potential to be a great drag car. Here is my car, let me know what you think.

Actually the Honda Prelude 5th gen is pretty hard to steal because it has an immobilizer. So unless I give my key to someone no one will be able to steal my car unless they are a professional car thief and know what they're doing. So I think I'm good as long as I keep my key on my at all times which I do.

It's a nice car. But I prefer to drive something that's not going to get stolen. I have a 94 Honda Accord 2.2L VTEC 4DR with 325,000 miles on it. If someone steals my car, they're going to be really disappointed.

It's one of the best Honda cars out there. Unfortunately, Honda did not choose to develop it further and went for a more family oriented lineup after around 2003. But there are still a few traces of their sportiness in the new Honda Civic Si. Other than that, Honda needs to step it up with their sportiness.

To me. Preludes are Preludes.

They were great, except the 4th gen. That was hideous.

The 5th gen Prelude was awesome. A 4cyl that puts out around 200hp?

That blew the competition away for years.

High reeving engines are an eargasm.

I wouldn't consider Preludes to be rare, since Honda offered it for more than 20 years.

Rare would be like the NSXs'.

It's too bad Honda doesn't offer anything just as sporty other than the Si (or maybe the Fit? I want more power out of the Fit).
