Default how do I know if my honda accord is 4/6 cylinder & is ex/dx?

My bf is going to take my car in to get it repaired for a good price, but fist he wants me to answer these questions which I have no idea to. Help please.

year 2000 if that will help :/

Ask him to open the hood and look at the engine.

Edit: if he sees 4 spark wires then it's a 4 cylinder. If he does not see any spark plug wires then it's a 6 cylinder.

You can look on your insurance card and Google search the first 8 digits of your Vin number, it will come up with the make, model of the car and type
