Default why does my d16z6 not start unless you pump the gas?

when i try to start my d16z6 it rough sputter starts or it sputters when u try to start it and you have to press the gas to start it and then at idle its very low and ruff then dies but while driving its fine what could this be? im worried

Could be fuel filter, fuel pump, or bad injectors in worst case.

check the carburetor of your car and clean it properly, I think your car will be start smoothly after that.
