Check Honda-Tech.com. I've seen a lot there regarding swaps.

I would do the B18 with a B16 head which gives v tech a harder kick. the k20 doesnt have that great of vtech and is not that fast.

you are comparing two way different engines...prices are quite different,k20 is way more expensive

but in a way more powerful

b18 has more potential and is cheaper to built

k20 is expensive to built but can get way more power

if money isnt an issue to you i would get the k20 but

if you dont have much cash,id get a b20z and install

a b16 head go b20 vtec,

K20 will by far be the best, however, most expensive option. 3-400 for a b18-b20, about 3-6k for a k swap in an ef. K20 is lighter, more efficient, more reliable, and much more responsive to mods than a gutless gsr or ls motor

a b18 will be a far easier swap and less expensive the money you will save on doing a b18 you can later put into forced induction or having an all engine build up.

the k20 swap is difficult and detailed but hasport has just about everything that you need to make it happen motor mounts, axles, wire harness, and so on. you can get a k20a3 for about a grand but it only makes about 160 hp or you can spend 5 grand and get a jdm k20a that makes 220 hp. either way the k20 swap is expensive, but if you just need to be one of the few peeps around with a k-series crx i say go for it.

What's the goal? Just looking for a bit more pep from your daily driver, or building a full blown race car?

Seriously, why don't people give some real information when asking questions like this. Details are paramount. If you're just doing it because it's the "kool thing to do" to modify your 20+ year old tin can, then do the "uber-kool" thing and drop $7500 or more to put a K20 in it.

for a full k20 swap ur looking at 7-10k. in a small car like the crx i would just do a b16 but if u want something with tons of power than just go to scrapyard and find a old prelude and pull th h22 out of it and poof u have a 190hp stock crx
