you might be able to get the code from a Honda dealership. I don't know their regulations but I have gotten my code from the dealer before.

It might be different since you are not the original owner, but maybe if you can prove you purchased the radio, they will be sympathetic.

If Honda dealership won't help you, your best bet is to purchase after market radio with HD. You won't need the code and can get adapter to the speakers and power.

You can take it to honda dealership and ask them, but since its not the original car radio im not sure how much they can help you. you can email the seller and try to ask them too.

How much you paid for that radio?? i bet $100 more and you could've bought a better aftermarket one.

Unlike the others, I will try to offer you a practical solution to your problem. Instead of telling you what you "should of done", this is what you can do:

Bring the following items to the nearest Honda Dealership (They are not permitted to give radio codes over the phone):

Title/Insurance Card of YOUR Honda (has your VIN)

Radio serial number

eBay receipt to prove you bought it

Gather these items and go to the Parts Department. Tell them you replaced the radio (show receipt) and you need a radio code for it. That's it! All they need to do is put in their ID number and the serial number. It is not complicated but some personnel are lazy or just plain unhelpful. Hopefully, the parts people will understand. If not, ask for the Parts manager or Service Director.

I hope I helped!
