Default Can I have a remote starter installed in my Honda Civic 2003 if the car has a factory an...

...Inmobilizer system? My Honda EX 03 came with an antitheft Inmobilizer system. I would like to have a remote starter installed but I heard it would disable the Inmobilizer, is this true or is there a way to do it safely without compromising my car's security?

Yes, but have a professional do it to ensure that the correct equipment is installed correctly. We have one on our 05 Honda CRV. Works great! Must have an automatic transmission.
