Default 1997 Honda Civic Ex stock engine problems?

Car has an issue when i try to start it, it will shut off after like 3 seconds, unless i rev the engine. I got a diagnostics and it says its the idle air control and the tps, i dont know if thats the reason why its not starting properly. i might do a swap, what do you guys think i should put into it ? its auto.
