Default 95 honda......................?

When I start my car (only happens on start up). I

let it run for a minute then the idle an rpm starts jumping an reveing up between 2000rpm an almost 3000rpm. Then after a few minutes it stops an is fine. What could that be an or what to do bout it.

You could always give it to an engineer to fix it or you can just check the front and see whats going on...... but i wouldnt reccomend that car i would choose a pontiac or a GMC i had those to for about 28 years and its still fine as the first day i got it

could be a vacuum leak or the idle air control at what rpm does the engine idle at after it is up to operating temp? it should be around 700 rpms at idle when its up to temp. if its alot higher then that then i would expect you have a leak in the intake someplace ...
