Default Installing new radio into 2004 Honda Civic, what happens to anti-theft system?

I would just like to know how to go about installing a radio without messing up the anti-theft system...and if it does, what will if affect? Thanks so much!

Ok, so this doesn't affect keyless entry? My boyfriend's Civic (a 98) has this problem, so he had to keep the old radio still installed, behind the new one.

The anti-theft system is part of the radio. The vehicle will not know that it has been removed. You will need to keep the code handy if you ever want to use the old radio again, or if you sell it.
