Default Need Honda Accord experts/technicians about TRANSMISSION problems?

I have a Honda Accord 02' EX coupe. I am having problems with the transmission. It was recently replaced last year and a whole new transmission kit was put in. The problem that I am having is that when I get up to a speed of approximately 45 MPH - 60 MPH the engine starts to rev and the car slows down. I think its having trouble switching into 4th gear, the other gears I notice a little bit of revving when I push all the way down but its driveable. Do you think it could be the transmission modulator?

sounds like a bad synchro, throwout bearing or possibly something to do with your cv axles, like the one guy said drain the tranny and put in new gear lube. If thats not the problem take the tranny out replace the throw out bearing and clutch have some one who has done it before with you to make sure its all done right, and replace the cv axles at the same time. If that doesnt resolve your problem you need new gear synchro i would advise you to have that done professionally

the thing to know is all of the things i mention you will have to put new gear lube in each time

Well, I would go back to the installer to see what they car do for you but those 02 Accords are notorious when it comes to transmission problems. Honda just didn't make very good cars back then.

I don't know if it's worth fixing at this point.
