Default What can I do to my 1999 Honda Civic DX Coupe to make it more "sportier" and attractive?

I recently bought a 1999 Honda Civic DX Couple with a rebuilt JDM motor. But the car is sort of old, and the interior is not the nicest. I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to the car in general to make it more sportier and attractive. Maybe new seats? New odometer? I'm not really sure this is my first car so any advice would be great. Maybe some links to parts I can look at. Thanks for all your help. I would appreciate advice about anything really, not just limited to the whole "sportier" thing. Thanks again.

Also, I wanted to buy a new stereo system system for the car. I have no clue where to start though. I am looking for more professional advice, I don't care about stripes and flames.

Gets seats either from an acura rsx or integra. They are very comfortable, sporty and supportive. You could lower it an inch and get some 17 inch rims for it as well. Another thing to look at are lip kits for a civic. Most body kits are outrageous and ugly.

do what you think looks good, rsx seats or gsr clothes are nice

its a EK so the lug pattern for the rims is 4x100 so you could get ls meshes or even hx's

there is a mugen front lip for ek's on ebay that look really nice

but like i said do what you like

17 inch rims are kinda big for a civic

Ok since you bought a 99 model Im going to assume that your not looking to spend too much money on upgrades. My advice for you is first decide how much youre be willing to spend. With that aside, personally if I have a few bucks to spend on my car I will add a rear spoiler, an Si or Acura rims, and Si or Acura seats, along with a decent cd/mp3 player, and drop it by at least 1.75". After that I would take the car for a one time professional detail job to make everything nice, clean, and shiny. Now the key here is simplicity okay. Do not go overboard with the rear spoiler that looks like you can hang your clothes to dry. Just keep it simple. For the stereo just visit your local bestbuy, they have tons to choose from and you can see and mess around with it too.
