I personally think it will be a waste of time and money to put money into a little Honda motor but here we go. You can start with the basics, cold air intake (real one that dips down low away from the motor, not just the filter) new exhaust system. Full exhaust (from headers back preferrable) bigger throttle body to let more air into your intake (cold air intake first) then you go for the bigger stuff, not sure if v-Tec is a option or not but will gain you a solid amount of power, different head, turbo charger kit or motor swap, new camshaft, higher compression. For best best answers look up a Honda forum website. They could tell you in detail everything you'll want to know.

If you already have bolt one installed (intake, exhaust etc) then try upgrading the drivetrain. A better clutch, lighter flywheel and limited slip differential. These upgrades will be more noticeable than engine mods

unless you are willing to seriously invest in your little honda, nothing will ever be practical and your efforts will be wasted. you will be embarrassed by people beating you on their motorcycles which cost 4k

dont get me wrong i have seen incredibly fast sleeper civics, but they put A LOT of money and time into it

whats ur budget?

goals?

i can rebuild my whole z6 with fj's kit and slap a street autoworks turbo kit, and make around 300 to the wheel, with around 3000 bucks...and make it as reliable as a daily driver..

that is including rebuilding the block and everything, but doing the labor myself..
