Default Will a 1994 Honda Civic motor fit in a 1988 Honda Civic?

both are sedan. i could imagine that the 1994 has different electronic system but i have no idea. any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

if you have the proper custom motor mounts and the ecu to run the newer motor along with all the other custom pieces to install it i dont see why not there are alot of motor swapped cars out there a google search will help you find companies that make the swap kits
