Default Turn signal or brake use causes engine to cut out

I have a 2004 Honda Accord 6 spd 2 dr. When I use the brakes or turn signal the rpm on the engine will drop significantly. At highway speed I get a nice jolt, but at low speed (<30 mph) the car will sometimes shut off completely. This happens on and off usually in bursts during the same trip, but then will go a week sometimes without happening. Any thoughts?
