Default Is honda accord 2012 2 wheel drive?

I know its front wheel drive but how can the enging convert torqe to the other side in a VSA situation if car is only 1 wheel drive? Is it 2 wheel drive?

The car is two wheel drive.

It ultimately depends on the system. Most, however, apply the brakes to the wheel without traction which sends the power to the other wheel (if it has traction) by use of the differential. I'm sure this is how the Accord does it as well.

The differential in the transaxle is an open differential which means that while both front wheels get power only the front right wheel will get power if the wheels start to slip. The VSA will apply the brakes to the right front wheel to slow it down and allow the power to get to the left front wheel.
