Default 2008 honda odyssey with flashing d and transmission flush advised?

Why did my d start flashing and also my van makes a loud humming noise when accelerating. My warranty is up in 10,000 miles.

If you still have warranty coverage left then take it back to the dealer that is what the warranty is for.

No a flush is not going to help anything at this point.

flashing light means problem don't bother with the flush if still under warranty get it there a.s.a.p could be something as small as a solenoid problem or worse case internal trans problem. if small then have the fluid changed only thing you can do since filter is internal and can't change that unless trans is apart

NEVER flush an automatic transmission, it blows all the dirt into the valve body and causes failure. The flashing D light is a warning that you have an electrical problem with the transmission solenoids or sensors.

This is a warranty covered repair and you definitely want it diagnosed by the dealer even if you don't have warranty. Many mechanics at small garages just up sell a rebuilt transmission hoping it takes care of the problem! My bet is it's an input or output speed sensor.
