Default Honda Prelude 6 Speed, and handmade?

Back then I remembered hearing of a honda prelude, but it was 6 speed and the "prelude" sign would light up in the night. The whole car was also handmade and i believe it was SH? But i read that prelude SH had only a 5 speed manual unless swapped. But i really have to know because i have to buy it, theres going to be a sentimental value to it. I heard it was very rare, and i even heard a mechanic back then who talked about it. Could it be JDM? and only made limited to people in Japan? and if so i would just import it, Thanks guys ! respond quick guys !

It is not because its JDM, nor was it made limited to people in Japan.

both base and SH models are identical when it comes to the engines power. The SH has some accessories that the base model does not have such as a leather shift knob, spoiler, different rims, and some others. Front suspension is different on the SH (biggest thing people dont realize). The geometry is different (specially designed to reduce torque steer) and the exhaust routing is slightly different to accomodate the ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System)

No Prelude was ever built with a 6 speed transmission from factory.

It must of have been swapped with a K series motor and transmission. (or F series, s2000 motor but very unlikely)

Qauife made a 6 speed gearbox for the h22. That's the only 6speed gearbox I know of that was based on the original h series gearbox.
