Default 1998 Honda civic OBD help please!?

It's a Honda civic 1998, 1.4L Petrol, European model. The obd port on this car happens to be a 3-pin small port. I bought an adopter from eBay for "honda 3pin to OBD2 (16 pin)" and attached with a bluetooth OBD2 diagnostic tool, but when I start the car, nothing happens, no lights on the bluetooth device at all. Could someone please help with that?

Here is the adopter I am using

And here is the bluetooth device I am using

Thank you for your answers

Because the Honda connector doesn't have a power feed. Proper OBD scanners have their own power supply, so I think you'll find it will work with a proper scanner or a handheld battery operated one.

If you're connecting for tuning purposes, then you're wasting your time because the ECU adjust fuelling automatically.

p.s your links don't work.
