Default 98 accord v6 iacv clean with MAF cleaner?

I just bought a 98 accord v6 coupe and the iacv is dirty and you know the whole voom voom, hard shift out of park cause it can't chill and it's very annoying! I have MAF cleaner. Can I used that? Also it gurgles like a v8 when accelerating. Normal? My last car was a bass model millennia so this car is all very knew to me. Though I searched Craig's list for it for months lol.
