Default Do i need to get a??

after market headers for a after market exhaust system

also what is a good site to buy these items for i have a d16y7 engine and wanna bump up my horse power a little all i have is a CAI on it

No. An aftermarket exhaust can be attached to your stock manifold (headers).

well you could mount the exhaust to your stock header, however, i do not suggest doing that, it will not add much power that way for one..

so yes get a header and exhaust, as I/H/E all compliment each other, if you upgrade the exhaust, then the header becomes the bottleneck, i would honestly suggest the header 1st, being as it will probably gain you the most power on an N/A build as far as simple bolt ons go. if i may suggest, get a tune after that, so that you get set your AFR's to an optimal level (anytime you change anything that has to do with airflow or fuel flow, it has the potential to throw off your AFR, which can be very dangerous, plus its very wasteful and you wont be making the power you could be with the mods.

also check out, they have alot of tech articles, you could learn alot about your car, plus i think they have a for sale section, where you can get used parts for a fraction of the price.
