Default Will installing a K&N air filter on my 2007 Accord improve fuel economy?

Will installing a K&N air filter on my 2007 Accord improve fuel economy?

I've read that computers in newer cars automatically adjust the fuel mixture alleviating the need for aftermarket air filters. Is this true? Does anyone have any real world numbers with an aftermarket air filter?

Thanks.
