Default Dragging sound in car at low speeds at low rpms?

Have a 1986 prelude si, just had the clutch and flywheel replaced about 3 months ago, been babying the car since i got it, i plan on restoring it once i save up alot, my question is when i'm driving at low speeds say i shift from1st gear to 2nd gear in a slow speed area it would make this dragging sound after i shift, not sure how to describe the sound i guess it kinda sounds like when you bottom out scraping the floor, or kinda sounds likes gravel scraping on a roof if that helps?

Could it be the tranny? Some say it can be the syncros from researching this up but cant find an exact answer, will take it to the shop soon, hopefully its something small haha.

Yes the sounds goes away in higher speeds and higher rpms the sound only last for about a second but is very noticable, the sound sounds like its coming from the rear under my car somewhere then again im not sure completely, also i just pulled into my driveway and it made the sound again while i was idling..

This could be many things, some expensive, some not. It could be low tranny fluid, synchros, u-joints, half-shaft, or a few other things. Does it do it at any throttle in the slower rpm range? Does it go away completely at higher rpms, or just get quieter? Can you tell whereabout the noise is comming from? Take it to a trustworthy mechanic who does free diagnostics, and ask them to take it for a drive. The smaller shops will give you more information than the chain shops. But seriously, any noise like what you have described means that there is metal being scraped away from where it should be... somewhere, and should be addressed SOON!
