Default 97 Honda Accord died on freeway?

I have an 1997 Honda Accord EX. While driving on the freeway the engine stalled and stopped and i had to pull on the right side. I towed it at home but couldn't take it to an auto shop, however the truck driver told me that there may be a problem with the timing belt and that maybe it broke. I have 165K on this car and never changed the belt. At home I can crank the car and crank it and crank it .... but it won't just start. So my question now is : Is it the timing belt or some sensor or relay of some sort that can cause this issue for me?

Thanks in advance

it sounds like the belt and if thats what it is u could of done some damage to the engine itself, its not going to be a sensor, your better taking it to a mechanic and seeing what they say

It sound like the timing belt has broke. Have it checked with a mechanic. Also by you cranking it, you could have bent the valves because if the timing belt broke and you keep cranking it, your valves are probably bent and you will have to replace them.
